Dear Teachers,
Every year a listing of classroom-related items for the upcoming school year has been sent home so parents can purchase those supplies for the first day of school next year. This may result in a headache for those parents in trying to find all those items. (Usually the day before school starts!) Plus, every student seems to have bought entirely different supplies, which causes nothing but problems in the classroom!!!
This year we will be using the ClassKit™ Program to simplify this process
First, you will receive an email containing your temporary password to access the ClassKit website. Your ClassKit dealer has already created a ClassKit for your grade, based upon last year’s supply list. All you have to do is review that list, note any changes/deletions/additions, and submit those to your school’s program administrator. Once all those edits have been approved and implemented, the ClassKit for that grade will be “published” to the website for the parents to access.
That’s It!
The parents then have two options. They can ignore this form, and just buy supplies themselves to bring to the classroom at the beginning of next school year -OR- they can send in their completed Order Form and their payment, before the end of this school year, and a brand new ClassKit™ will be sitting in their children's classroom when school starts next fall!How does this kit help YOU?
First, every student who purchases a ClassKit™ will have the same quality, age-appropriate supplies which they really need to succeed. (Items that YOU selected!)
Second, every student starts the school year with all their supplies. (Mom couldn't find that yellow folder before school started!)
Third, each student receives, as part of their ClassKit™, a sheet of individualized labels to put on their own items - avoiding conflicts over who owns what.
Fourth, a portion of each ClassKit™ selling price could be rebated back to your school (or designated parent/teacher organization) to use to buy whatever items the entire school needs. (bulk construction paper, laminating supplies, etc.)
Lastly, The ClassKit™ program also allows you to create an order for supplies that you need for you own classroom (banners, stickers, flashcards, etc) which will be delivered directly to you! The school supply catalog sent to you contains those school supply items that have proven to be most popular with teachers around the country. On your landing page on the website click on the Room Order button and an order form appears. You can either put in specific item numbers from that catalog, or, if you can’ find an item just put in the generic term (i.e. #2 pencils, paper towels…) and the ClassKit™ staff will do the rest. In every instance, ClassKit™ will use only quality manufacturers as our source for these products.
